Our rescheduled “Polar Bear” camp, although it looks like the temperatures will be spring-like.

It will be centered on a day of large-scale capture-the-flag game using most of the 400 acres available to us.  Planning, strategy, orientation, cooperation, tactics, cunning, stamina, and a whole lot of fun are on the menu.

Be especially aware that we will be all over the place, likely including the underbrush.  Even though the poison ivy might be dormant, it is still as potent.  Make sure everyone is covered from head to toe for the game.  A change of clothes might be a great option in case of exposure.

LAST-MINUTE CHANGE:
Due to our re-schedule and schedule conflicts, we were no able to secure a priest to come give confessions and celebrate Mass Saturday.  We will have plenty of game time, and 1st Lt. Koch will add a fire starting kit and fire starting class.  Maybe we’ll eat some local plants too if we have time!
The plan is to leisurely break camp on Sunday, then for those who choose to do so, caravan down to Mater Dei to attend the 1300 Mass in Class A uniforms (bring LOTS of deodorant!).  We can stop on the way down to grab a bite.

Camp fees are reduced to $10 per person since we are able to use most of the groceries left from the scrapped dinner plans at our last event.

Remember that pre-planned and approved QUALITY skits, story telling, or games are encouraged for the Sat. night camp fire.  No improv. or silly jokes, please…
