01/22/21 – 01/24/21 Camp CANCELLED – Covid ravages within our ranks

CAMP CANCELLED
This campout will focus on two separate items:
1) Learning to use shepherd’s slings and how to lash (so we can build tripods and eventually, trebuchets).
2) Your Chef’s hat: The troop will supply all the raw materials for the meals, but each family will be responsible for preparing their own meals. A meal plan will be available Tuesday night (1/19) so you can be thinking about it.
Sacraments? Yes, Fr. McDonnell has confirmed that he will be hearing confessions and saying Mass Saturday afternoon.
Sign up is now open for this camp. Camp will run from Friday night and end at 10 am Sunday.
VanAlstyne has had less than 0.10″ rain since Jan 1, so we can expect pretty dry conditions to camp. Long range forecast calls for lows in the low 40’s and highs partly cloudy and in the upper 50’s.
