I pray this Easter draws you ever closer to Jesus Christ!
Please if you can help at this month’s camp this coming weekend it would be greatly appreciated. Camp the weekend or just come on Saturday morning for breakfast and to help with the day’s events: April 28-30
Despite all our efforts to have camps in February and March, we were unsuccessful due to weather conditions. However, we have another chance this month. We have a dual troop camp on the property of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Flower Mound. This will be a special invite to all the fathers and sons of the parish to experience our troops and enjoy some great events. We will offer the dads and boys the opportunity to camp the weekend or show up for the events. Events will include: Firecraft, Hatchet throwing, BB Guns, Gaga Ball, and More!
Bring your typical camp supplies since we will not be using any of the indoor facilities.
We had about 20 dads sign up for more info and most seemed likely to be there. This is our big chance to grow the ranks. We may have an event at Mater Dei for the same purpose in the future. More information to follow. We do need a headcount now so we can plan ahead – “yes, no, probably” would be great. If “probably” advise ASAP.
