Zipper will give us a crash course in orienteering to prepare for the Jan 21-23 camp.\n\nThat is the only way for you to get the most of the exciting upcoming camp: the North Texas Orienteering LBJ Dill0-Goat Competition on 01/22.\n\n\n\n\nWe will meet at the playground at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve  https://goo.gl/maps/VPQF65BGQFLRirf2A at 1 PM.  Lt. Zipper will be there early to set up the course.  Anyone that gets there early is welcome to play and hang out together.\nAround 1 PM we will start the training.  We will move to the pavilion if it is available (https://goo.gl/maps/8ydyUXWxd3VKXc7t6) .\nWe will discuss how to use a compass and read a map (the attached map and legend).\nWe will then walk the first 3 points of the yellow course as a group.  After that\, groups will split up to different parts of the yellow course so that the boys will have a chance to work independently.  We will meet back up at the playground and have a Q&A session there to review what the boys learned independently.\n\n\nSee you there.\n\nRespectfully\,\n\n\n\n\n\nChristopher Hatfield\, Captain\nTroop 1\nPrima Inter Pares\nTroops of Saint George
